Evening Primrose Oil....... One of my favorite supplements

Evening primrose oil(“EPO”)  is made from the seeds of the flowers of a plant native to North America. Its healing benefits are due to its Gamma-Linolenic acid (GLA) content. GLA is an omega-6 fatty acid found in plant oils; and is generally taken as a supplement or applied topically

Some of the great benefits of Evening Primrose Oil (“EPO”) and why I personally love are….

It helps to improve overall skin health.  Taking it orally helps to smooth skin and improve: elasticity, moisture, firmness and fatigue resistance.  The GLA in Evening Primrose oil is necessary for ideal skin structure and function. Because the skin can’t produce GLA on its own, researchers believe taking GLA-rich Evening Primrose helps keep skin healthy overall.

EPO is also known to help ease eczema, relieve PMS symptoms such as irritability, bloating and minimize breast pain.  EPO also is known to help reduce hot flashes(it personally helped me ALOT along with Wild Yam Capsules)

I personally take (1) 1300 mg capsule per day around noon after lunch; but I’ve also been taking this since I was about 15 yrs old and I’m now almost 52.  Have I been taking this every single day since I was 15 Nooooo but I have been taking everyday since I hit 50!   

If you are going to try this natural remedy  out I would suggest starting out with (1) 500 mg capsule.

I’m not Doctor so please consult your own doctor and or do your own research!  I get so many people asking me about my skin, what I do and I why I don’t struggle with night sweats or hot flashes so hence the reason I’m spilling the tea!!!

I have also decided to re-create my skincare line AGAIN because many of you have emailed and DM’d me about doing this.  This time around the line will be simple because honestly do you don’t need 5,000 steps for great skin care!
